In Memorium

It is with great sadness that we inform you that Steven R Striker, CLS-F, passed away in June 2019. Steve had been a valued member of our team since 2010, but had been a fixture in the family law community for over 40 years. Steve was not only a fine attorney, he was mentor to many of us and we learned new things from Steve every day.

More important, Steve was dedicated to his family and understood that while work was important, his family was his priority. When we think of Steve, we remember his humor, and unique ability to help young attorneys in our office understand their cases and look at the big picture of the case; not just one simple issue. Yet, the most important memory of Steve to take with you is that he was a good Husband and Father, which really is all that matters.

With over 35 years of family law experience, Attorney Steven Striker has handled some of the most challenging kinds of cases and has held various positions within the legal community. He was a professor of law at Cabrillo Pacific School of Law, Judge Pro Tem for the San Diego Superior Court, and worked as a Settlement Conference Mediator. After obtaining his bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach, he graduated from California Western School of Law.

Throughout his extensive legal career, Attorney Steven Striker has been honored with numerous accolades and distinctions, such as inclusion on the Super Lawyers® list and an AV® Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®. San Diego Magazine also named him as a Top Lawyers in 2015. Before joining our law firm, he operated his own private practice for 37 years. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, photography, hiking, and spending time with his family.
