John F. Anderson brings more than three decades of legal experience to Moore, Schulman & Moore, APC, with a practice focused on family law and the complex personal, financial, and legal issues that arise during divorce and related matters.
Mr. Anderson represents clients in a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, property division, child custody and visitation, spousal support, child support, restraining orders, and mediation. He understands that family law matters often affect every part of a person’s life, from financial stability and parenting relationships to long-term peace of mind. With that understanding, he works to help clients develop practical, strategic solutions during some of the most difficult transitions they may face.
Known as a results-oriented attorney, Mr. Anderson is experienced in both negotiation and litigation. When a matter can be resolved through thoughtful negotiation, he works to protect his client’s interests while reducing unnecessary conflict. When court intervention or trial becomes necessary, he is prepared to advocate effectively and guide clients through the litigation process with clarity and confidence.
Mr. Anderson is also highly familiar with the San Diego County family law courts and the judges and commissioners who preside over these matters. His experience includes cases involving urgent family law issues, including domestic violence restraining orders and the defense of false allegations of domestic violence, where a prompt and strategic response can be critical.
In addition to his family law practice, Mr. Anderson brings a strong business and entrepreneurial background to his work. Before and during his legal career, he founded and operated successful companies, giving him valuable insight into business interests, contracts, negotiations, and complex financial issues that can arise in divorce and property division matters. This background allows him to approach family law cases not only as a legal advocate, but also as a practical problem-solver who understands the real-world impact of financial and business-related decisions.
Mr. Anderson has been admitted to practice law in California since 1989. His depth of experience, practical judgment, and commitment to strategic representation make him a valuable advocate for his clients.
