About
Renee M. Robinson brings a unique blend of legal experience, business acumen, and practical problem-solving to Moore Schulman & Moore, APC. With a career spanning family law, corporate compliance, contract management, human resources, and business operations, she offers clients a well-rounded perspective and a thoughtful approach to resolving complex legal issues.
Renee began her legal career after earning her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. Over the course of more than two decades, she has served in a variety of legal and leadership roles, developing extensive experience navigating both the legal and practical challenges individuals and businesses face.
Family law has been a consistent thread throughout her career. As the founder of her own law practice, Renee managed all aspects of family law matters while also handling a variety of legal issues including juvenile law, criminal defense, aviation law, and civil litigation. She later served as an Associate Attorney with Lowenstein Brown, A.P.L.C., where she represented clients in family law matters throughout San Diego County. Most recently, she provided legal research and writing support for a family law practice, further strengthening her knowledge of California family law and litigation strategy.
In addition to her legal practice, Renee has held significant leadership positions in the corporate sector. She served as Office Manager and Attorney for a manufacturer of advanced laser systems, overseeing legal, regulatory, compliance, human resources, accounting, and contract administration functions. She has also worked extensively in contract management and compliance roles, including her previous position as Contracts Manager for Baker Electric.
This diverse professional background provides Renee with valuable insight into financial, business, and operational issues that frequently arise in family law matters. Her experience reviewing contracts, managing regulatory compliance, and overseeing business operations allows her to analyze complex situations with a practical and strategic mindset.
Clients appreciate Renee's calm demeanor, resilience, and practical approach to problem-solving. She understands that family law matters often arise during some of the most challenging periods in a person's life and believes that effective representation requires not only legal knowledge, but also empathy, communication, and a commitment to helping clients move forward with confidence.
After spending several years in corporate leadership and contract management roles, Renee returned to family law because she missed the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. While her business and compliance experience strengthened her analytical and problem-solving skills, she found the most rewarding work was helping individuals and families navigate significant life transitions and achieve positive outcomes.
A lifelong San Diegan, Renee was born and raised in the Clairemont community and is a graduate of Clairemont High School. Military service has been an important part of her family's history and values. Both of her grandfathers, her grandmother, and her father served in the United States Navy, giving her a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by military families and the unique challenges they often face.
Outside the office, Renee enjoys hiking, sewing, creating costumes for theater productions, thrift shopping, and board games. She is also an avid animal lover and shares her home with Jack, her senior chiweenie, who keeps life entertaining with his strong personality. Renee is the proud mother of an adult daughter who works as a professional dog groomer, and together they share a lifelong love of animals.
At Moore Schulman & Moore, Renee combines her family law experience, business insight, and practical perspective to help clients navigate complex legal issues with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
