Meet Jillian Minter

Jillian Minter is a partner at Moore, Schulman & Moore, APC and a Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS), a distinction awarded by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization to attorneys who demonstrate a high level of expertise, experience, and professionalism in family law.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Ms. Minter brings both East Coast tenacity and Southern California perspective to her practice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Fordham University in 2009, where her studies sparked a deep interest in the social dynamics that often underlie family law matters. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2013.

Before focusing exclusively on family law, Ms. Minter practiced in criminal defense, dependency, and civil litigation in the areas of insurance defense and professional liability. While working in dependency, Ms. Minter served as a court-appointed attorney representing parents in dependency matters, an experience that sharpened her advocacy skills and deepened her understanding of high-stakes, emotionally complex cases.

Today, Ms. Minter dedicates her practice to family law, representing clients in matters including divorce, child custody and support, property division, and high-conflict disputes. Her certification as a Family Law Specialist reflects her commitment to excellence, continued education, and proven results in this highly nuanced area of law.

Ms. Minter is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Known for her thoughtful, strategic approach and strong advocacy, Ms. Minter works closely with her clients to guide them through challenging transitions with clarity and confidence.
