Peggy Moore is a family law attorney and a founding partner at Moore, Schulman & Moore, APC. Known for being highly skilled and passionate, she works diligently to secure the outcomes our clients need to move on with their lives.

As a Board Certified Family Law Specialist by the California Board of Legal Specialization, she has expert legal insight regarding the specific area of family law. When handling family law cases such as divorce, child custody, and domestic partnerships, she provides step-by-step guidance to people who need support now more than perhaps any other time in their lives.

Caring Foster Parent & CASA Volunteer

Much of Attorney Peggy Moore’s legal career was focused on juvenile dependency cases and complex child custody cases involving children with difficult upbringings. Her advocacy was never just limited to her work as a child custody attorney, though. Peggy was known by courts far and wide for her frequent work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer. CASAs represent children in different legal processes, like family law cases involving child custody and support, when they otherwise would have had to try to represent themselves, something no child is ever fully prepared to handle alone.

Furthermore, Peggy truly went above and beyond in many cases by acting as a foster parent to the children she represented. When children did not have a safe or stable home to return to, and when she was able, Peggy volunteered to foster them until they could be adopted by loving forever parents. Her commitment to making sure local children were set up for comfortable, thriving lives resonated with everyone at the firm, inspiring us to always do whatever we could to help our clients, especially young children.
