For Attorney Kira Iwinski, compassion is one of the best strengths you can have. Instilled in her at a young age, Kira’s ability to connect with people and exercise compassion make her a sought-after family law attorney. Her discipline, attention to detail, and creativity helps her clients stay focused on resolving their case without allowing their emotions to guide their legal decisions, ultimately saving themselves valuable time and money. Kira’s approach to resolving family law issues ensures her clients do not have to compromise between effective advocacy, compassion, and understanding.
Kira enjoys the human component of practicing family law as well as the unique legal complexity of each case. She finds the multitude of legal issues involved in family law cases provide opportunities to be creative in reaching resolutions. She encourages her clients to work with her to deescalate situations and promote settlement by setting aside their emotions, which allows her clients the opportunity to play a more integral role in resolving their cases rather than relying upon a judge’s decision. However, having excelled in trial competitions and clerked for a family law judge, she has a unique perspective on how judges approach cases and doesn’t shy away from litigation if needed.
The native of Wisconsin is a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota. She received her Juris Doctor Degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Her dedication and drive allowed her to make San Diego her home while she finished law school online and worked as a law clerk at Moore, Schulman and Moore, APC before going on to practice law with the firm as an associate attorney.
Kira is an avid baseball fan who enjoys supporting the local Padres team. She enjoys taking advantage of all San Diego has to offer by hiking, exploring the local restaurant scene, and taking her goldendoodle Daisy Mae on long walks across the Southern California coastline.
